'Pro-Ripple' Lawyer John Deaton Wins Massachusetts Primary Election

John E Deaton, a lawyer known for promoting Ripple (XRP), won the Mesachsetts primary election on the 3rd (local time).
With this primary victory, Deaton will reportedly be running against "anti-cryptocurrency" Senator Elizabeth Warren in November.
Prior to this, Ripple donated about $1 million to Deaton's year-end Senate campaign in July.
Deaton wrote in July that "the move that best indicates Vice President Kamala Hari Su's change of stance on cryptocurrencies is her decision to appoint SEC Secretary Gary Gensler.
"I would like to hear from you about the firing of Chairman Gensler," he said. "Gensler has caused a lot of damage to individual cryptocurrency investors. Sam Banks, founder of FTX,
I've also met with SBF on a number of occasions," he added.
