”Veteran 2” to be released on the 13th, receives positive reviews from overseas media

The movie "Veteran 2," which is about to be released nationwide, has been getting positive reviews from overseas media and critics, raising expectations for its success at the box office. The movie was nominated for Best Picture at the 49th Toronto International Film Festival on the 6th (local time).
The film had its official premiere in the special presentation section. The film was officially invited to an international film festival in May this year at the 77th Cannes Film Festival (Midnight Screening).
After the official premiere on the 6th, local media and critics praised the story and action that are unique to Ryoo Seung-wan.
The US online game media praised the film, saying, "It's a work that stands out for its intensity, surpassing that of the previous film," and "The action scenes are impressive, surpassing those of 'John Wick: Consequences.'"
Director Ryoo Seung-wan, who attended the premiere screening that day, said, "I'm grateful to the actors who waited for the sequel and participated in it," and "On the first day of filming, it felt like it hadn't even been a month since the first movie.
"It was strange because it felt like I was so used to it," he continued. "If you remember the first movie, you'll be able to feel a completely different meaning and cinematic experience through 'Veteran 2.'
"Veteran 2" is a story about a rookie detective, Park Sun-woo (Jung Hae-In), joining a violent crime investigation team led by veteran detective Seo Dong-cheol (Hwang Jung-Min).
The film is an action-packed crime drama about a serial killer who is pursued by a group of people. It will be released in theaters nationwide on the 13th.
