The results of a public opinion poll announced on the 9th showed that South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol's approval rating has remained in the high 20 percent range for two consecutive weeks.
The survey was conducted by the South Korean polling agency "Realmeter" on the 2nd to 6th of this month among 2,508 voters aged 18 and over.
According to the survey, President Yoon's approval rating for the first week of September was 29.9%, up 0.3% from the previous survey. President Yoon's approval rating was 33.6% in the second week of August.
It has fallen for three consecutive weeks since recording its highest number of votes in the previous survey, dropping to 29.6% in the previous survey. Disapproval was down 0.6% to 6.1%.
Meanwhile, the approval rating for political parties was calculated as 34.6% for the ruling People's Power Party and 40.1% for the Democratic Party of Japan. The ruling party's approval rating was 1.
The Democratic Party rose 8% and the Democratic Party fell 2.1%, followed by the Fatherland Reform Party at 7.8%, the New Reform Party at 4.1%, the Progressive Party at 2.2%, and independents at 8.6%.
The party support rate survey was conducted on the 5th and 6th of this month, targeting 1,001 voters aged 18 and over.
