North Korea's missile factory and other facilities suffer flood damage, possibly disrupting operations

It has been suggested that operations at the munitions complex in Jagando, North Korea, may be disrupted due to damage caused by heavy rains in the Amnok River area at the end of July.
On the 7th, the US government-affiliated international broadcasting station Voice of America (VOA) announced that a US private satellite service, Planet Labs, had taken a satellite photo of Jagang Province on the 6th of this month, showing the area before the flood.
"After comparing the actual damage with the actual damage, it is estimated that some buildings, bridges and roads at the 2.8 Machinery Factory were washed away," the report said. Jagang Province is an area densely populated with various munitions factories, and the 2.8 Machinery Factory is known for producing missiles and munitions.
It is known as a place where artillery warheads are manufactured. Comparing pictures of the area before and after the flood, two bridges have disappeared and parts of the road have also been washed away.
VOA reported, "It is difficult to make an accurate judgment based on satellite images alone, but the roads have been washed away, making it difficult to transport supplies and launch pads."
