EXO's BAEK HYUN: ”My 4th mini album is like a report of my survival”

BAEK HYUN (BAEKHYUN) of the boy group EXO has graced the cover of ELLE's digital project "ELLE D Edition."
The photo shoot, which focuses on capturing BAEK HYUN's diverse styles and faces, was released to the world on September 6th.

AEK HYUN said, "It feels like a re-debut because a year and a half has passed since I finished my military service.
"It's like an album announcing Hyun's survival," he said, unable to hide his excitement.
As an artist in his 30s, BAEK HYUN is starting his first full-fledged album, so when asked if there is anything different from when he was in his 20s, BAEK
HYUN said, "I pushed myself too hard in my 20s, and now I'm in a position where I can naturally release the experiences I've accumulated. Musically, I want to do what I like.
I want to unravel it in my own way and make it rewarding for those who work with me as a person," he replied, showing his maturity.
He also made no secret of his love for the R&B genre.
HYUN said, "It's a genre I've loved ever since I was in high school, when I studied practical music. I want to create something that doesn't ruin the song.
"The biggest appeal of R&B is that you can sing it freely. To me, it's a genre that feels like a kind of game," he answered, showing his serious side.

The moment I heard "Slice," I was confident that I was ready to start preparing for the album.
I also tried things I normally don't try, like singing and rapping," he said, showing his determination to continue expanding as an artist.
Meanwhile, BAEK has returned with their first mini album in 3 years and 6 months, building on their unique career.
HYUN's special encounter with ELLE, the ELLE D Edition project, will be broadcast on ELLE at 9 a.m. on the 10th.
