Shin Jin-seo (9th dan) holds press conference to celebrate winning the Quzhou Lanka Cup World Go Open
Shin Jin-seo, 9th dan, held a press conference after returning to Korea after winning the Quzhou Lanke Cup World Go Open held in Quzhou, Zhejiang Province, China.
On the 10th, a press conference was held at the Korea Go Association in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, with about 30 reporters in attendance and a question-and-answer session with Shin Jin-seo (9th dan).
They also interacted with fans through questions submitted in advance via social media Q&A events and a live broadcast on YouTube, which received a huge response.
Shin Jin-seo 9-dan said, "It was very painful when I lost at the world championships recently, but I kept on studying despite the difficult times and I am grateful for this honor.

Shin Jin-seo (9-dan) joined the Korea Go Association in 2012 and became the youngest player to be ranked number one at the age of 18. He has been ranked number one in Korea for 57 consecutive months.
