”I really stabbed her” - South Korea's mother who brandished a weapon at her 14-year-old daughter's boyfriend says this when she is arrested

A woman in her 30s brandished a weapon at her daughter's teenage boyfriend and chased him until he was subdued by police officers.
On the 10th, the Suseong Police Station in Daegu arrested a man named A (14), who was dating the girl, for assault.
The mother, suspect B (38), was arrested on the spot for stabbing the victim with a container (attempted murder). At around 10:40 pm on the 9th, suspect B hid behind a telephone pole and watched her daughter and A-kun sitting in an alley in Suseong-gu.
The moment the two tried to leave the scene, he attacked A with the weapon. CCTV footage from the scene showed A running away in shock after being stabbed with the weapon, and when B tried to chase after him, his daughter ran away.
The video clearly showed the situation at the time, such as grabbing A's arm to stop her. Suspect B tried to shake off his daughter's hand, but even after his shoes came off, he continued running and chased A for about 300 meters.
When A-kun was unable to escape far and collapsed, B-kun tried to kill himself with the murder weapon. The daughter, who was on her knees and begging, tried to pull down the hand of her mother who was holding the murder weapon, while the police were called in.
The mother continued to chase him for about 10 minutes until police subdued him with a baton. One witness said, "I heard the woman who was with me say, 'I really stabbed you,' and when I looked again, I saw that she was holding a weapon.
Another witness told JTBC, "The assailant said that he had reported the man to the police four times while he was being taken away by the police, but that he was just released."
Mr. A, who was stabbed with the murder weapon, was seriously injured and underwent surgery at a university hospital, but is said to be in critical condition. At the time of the crime, suspect B had been drinking.
Suspect B reportedly claimed that A had gaslighted his daughter, but the police said, "Based on the statements of Suspect B and his daughter,
"There are discrepancies, and we need to investigate the circumstances of the crime," he said. After investigating the exact motive and circumstances of the crime, the police plan to apply for an arrest warrant for suspect B.
