乗務員が「暴行」受けたのに “そのまま飛行”…マネージャー「大丈夫でしょ?大事になるから」=韓国
Flight crew member ”assaulted” but ”fly on”... Manager: ”Are you okay? This could be a big deal” = Korea
A passenger on a South Korean flight assaulted a flight attendant, but the flight's manager insisted the flight continue and tried to cover up the incident, angering internet users.
On the 10th, according to the Korean TV station "JTBC" program "Case Head," on the 5th of this month, a flight attendant for the major airline "Asiana Airlines," Ms. A, was assaulted by a foreign male passenger on board the plane.
At that time, Mr. A was so beaten that his earring flew off, and the shocked passengers screamed. After that, the passenger continued to shout loudly on the plane, and other passengers on the plane
The problem was the manager's attitude. Despite the assault, the manager told Mr. A, "It's okay, right? You can go, right?" and
"Do you want to return to the gate?" Mr. A responded to the manager's coercive remarks by saying, "It's okay," and the plane took off and flew for 11 hours.
Furthermore, the manager did not change Mr. A's assigned location, so Mr. A had to continue serving the passenger who had assaulted him.
However, the manager did not contact the local police or take any action after arriving. In addition, the manager wrote in a report to the company that "there was a suspected disorder.
"A passenger swung his arms around and hit the flight attendant," he wrote, lying. A protested, but the manager ignored his opinion, saying, "That will make things worse."
Afterwards, the anonymous workplace internet community Blind was flooded with denunciations from Asiana Airlines flight attendants about the incident.
Regarding this incident, Asiana Airlines said, "We have removed the injured crew member from the flight schedule and are currently checking his health condition."
"The incident has been removed from the schedule and we will thoroughly investigate the matter and take appropriate action."
