South Korean opposition parties form coalition to impeach President Yoon... 9 Democratic Party lawmakers join
On the 11th, South Korea's largest opposition party, the Democratic Party of Korea, as well as several other opposition lawmakers including the Fatherland Reform Party, the Progressive Party, and the Social Democratic Party, came together to form an organization called the "Yoon Seok-yeol Impeachment Preparation Lawmakers Solidarity."
They held a press conference in the National Assembly press room that day, saying, "We will proceed with legal preparations to make impeachment a reality and increase the number of participating lawmakers."

From the Democratic Party, Kim Jeong-ho, Kang Deok-gu, Moon Jeong-bok, Min Hyung-bae, Park Soo-hyeon, and Bok Ki-wan were the candidates.
Rep. Wang, Kim Jun-hyok, Bu Seung-chan, and Yang Moon-seok participated. Hwang Un-ha, floor leader of the Fatherland Reform Party, and Rep. Yang Moon-seok, floor leader of the Social Democratic Party, participated.
Han Changmin, the chairman of the National Assembly, also attended the press conference. He said, "When I think of our people who are suffering under the influence of a cruel and irresponsible president, I can no longer remain silent.
"We will also steadily discuss the issue of major social reforms for a new Republic of Korea after impeachment," Min said.
"We have agreed that we should first submit the impeachment bill and then secure the 200 lawmakers needed to impeach," he said.
