The Korea Expressway Corporation predicts that 520,000 vehicles will travel from the capital area to local areas, and 420,000 vehicles will travel from local areas to the capital area on that day. For outbound travel, the number will increase by 100,000 from today (14th).
The congestion in the outbound direction is expected to peak between 12 and 1 p.m., but will ease between 8 and 9 p.m. In the inbound direction, congestion will begin between 10 and 11 a.m., and will worsen between 4 and 5 p.m.
The toll exemption period for the mid-autumn celebration holiday will last for four days from tomorrow (15th) until the 18th.
