YouTuber who ”lived at Incheon Airport for five days” said, ”I was scared I'd be arrested” = Korea
A Korean YouTuber attempted the challenge of staying at Incheon Airport for five days. On the 13th, YouTuber "Ordinary Person" posted a video titled "Incheon Airport
He uploaded a video titled "What happens when you live at a port for 100 hours." In the video, the YouTuber asks, "How long can someone who is not going to depart abroad stay at an airport?"
He began the challenge by saying, "I want to investigate whether or not this is the case." In August, he spent 100 hours traveling between Incheon International Airport's Terminal 1 and 2. During this period, the YouTuber collected approximately 400,000 views.
On the first day, the YouTuber had dinner at a restaurant, then moved to the arrival lobby to find a place to sleep.
Lying down in a wide chair with a seat, he said, "I have to bend my body a little, but it's not as inconvenient as I thought it would be."
However, as the night drew on and the airport became more crowded, he had to move seats.
The YouTuber also visited the observation deck at Terminal 2. On days when he felt exhausted, he also went to a jimjilbang (sauna) and stayed at a capsule hotel.
Afterwards, the YouTuber spent time visiting bookstores, restaurants, experience centers, cafes, etc. in the airport.
"I was so bored that I just bought a book at a bookstore," he said. "When you're stuck in an airport for about 70 hours, there's nothing to do except eat and sleep."
On the other hand, "After 90 hours at the airport, it feels as comfortable as being at home, but every time a security officer passes by, I'm afraid I'll be caught.
"It's really scary," he said, "so I change clothes every day so I can look like a tourist, but it still bothers me." After completing the challenge, the YouTuber said, "Compared to other airports (overseas), it's
"I had a very comfortable stay," he said, adding, "The fact that Korea is safe was the biggest driving force that enabled me to complete this challenge."
He added, "When I'm at other airports, I have to be constantly worried about being pickpocketed or robbed," and added, "It was easy because the security here is good."
However, he said that because it was a public place, there was a lot of moving population and the noise was a pain. YouTuber "Normal Person" has been eating only ramen for 7 days,
He has uploaded videos of unique challenges, such as earning 1 million won by working part-time for seven days, living in a car for 100 hours, and running 56 kilometers in 24 hours.
