Fishing boat capsizes off the coast of Gunsan... 3 of 8 rescued crew members die = South Korea

A fishing boat capsized in the sea near Sibidonpa Island in Gunsan City, North Jeolla Province, South Korea, and eight crew members were rescued by the Coast Guard, but three of them died.
According to the Gunsan Maritime Police Station on the 16th, the captain (71), chief engineer (53) of a 35-ton fishing boat who had been taken to the hospital in cardiac arrest that morning, and an Indonesian crew member in his 40s, were among those killed.
The remaining five foreign crew members (three from Vietnam and two from Indonesia) who were rescued were found to have no major health problems.
Prior to this, at around 7:36 a.m. on the same day, a fishing boat capsized in the sea approximately 7.5 km south of Juisei East Beach Island in Gunsan City.
The Coast Guard dispatched a HYERI helicopter and patrol vessels to the scene and rescued all eight crew members who had taken refuge in the fishing boat's cabins and other areas.
The Coast Guard said that at the time of the accident, an oil tanker (1,618 ton class) was passing near the fishing boat.
Based on witness accounts of a collision between two ships, they are investigating the possibility of a collision between two ships.
"Once he has completed his treatment, we plan to keep all options open and continue to investigate the exact circumstances of the accident."
