South Korean Defense Minister visits hospital to encourage medical staff, ”Supporting emergency medical care during mid-autumn celebration holiday”

South Korea's Defense Minister Kim Young-hyun visited the Armed Forces Capital Hospital and offered encouragement to military medical staff providing emergency medical care during the mid-autumn celebration (Chuseok) festival holiday.
According to the Ministry of National Defense on the 16th, Minister Kim visited the emergency room at the Armed Forces Capital Hospital that day and said, "We will protect the lives and property of the people."

Prior to this, in an online meeting with Ye Ha, the director of the military hospital of the Defense Ministry's National Defense Command, and others, Minister Kim said, "We will take responsibility for the situation until the end so that the patient can be treated as soon as possible."
"In the meantime, the Medical General Situation Center and the emergency rooms of each hospital must thoroughly maintain a 24-hour system," he said. He then encouraged military medical officers dispatched to civilian medical institutions, saying, "The military medical staff

According to the Ministry of National Defense, the military will be conducting emergency rescue and relief operations from the 13th to the 18th, which is the mid-autumn celebration holiday and the government's joint special traffic control period.
Through this, 41 cases of structural and emergency medical treatment were performed on civilians, including those with liver injuries and fractures, between the 13th and the morning of the 16th.
