Actress Lee Yong Ae has attracted attention by posting photos of herself enjoying the mid-autumn celebration (Chuseok) holiday at a luxurious hanok hotel in Yeongwol, Gangwon Province.
Lee Yong-ae recently posted on her social media account, "Have a relaxing mid-autumn celebration," along with a photo of her stay at the Yeongwol Hanok Hotel, "THE HANOK."
He posted photos taken at the HERITAGE HOUSE, where he is seen in casual clothes resting in various places around the hotel.
This is a resort-style hanok house with a total floor area of 16,332 square meters that opened last year.
It is a hotel established by Cho Jeong-il, chairman of fintech solutions company Konai, with an investment of 180 billion won (US$170 million). The entire hotel has not yet been revealed to the public.
Although it is not yet complete, the plan is to open a total of 137 rooms, including 35 detached rooms, by 2027. The building is made of the highest quality wood that has been dried for seven years and 100% eco-friendly materials.
It is operated on a membership basis, with the accommodation fee for non-members being 10 million won (approximately 1 million yen) per night, and for members, the registration fee is 1.2 billion won (approximately 120 million yen).
Actress Go So-yeon and actor Jang Dong-gun and their family also visited this hotel in August this year, which became a hot topic.
Meanwhile, Lee Yong-ae married a Korean businessman living in the United States who is 20 years older than her in 2009, and has twin brother and sister.
