President Yoon visits frontline medical team in Gangwon Province to inspect emergency treatment system during Mid-Autumn Festival (South Korea)

On the afternoon of the 17th, the day of the mid-autumn celebration (Chuseok), South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol visited the medical unit of the 15th Army Division on the front lines in Gangwon Province to inspect the emergency treatment system.
The visit was aimed at boosting the morale of troops working on the front lines of national defense during the mid-autumn celebration holiday. President Yoon first visited the Victory Hospital of the 15th Division Medical Corps. The hospital opened in May last year.
It was registered as a medical institution in May and is providing medical services to people living in areas with poor medical facilities. President Yoon received a report from Kang Hyun-woo, commander of the 15th division, about the current status of the Seungri Medical Center.
After receiving the report, President Yoon interacted with local residents and military families in Hwacheon County and toured the dental, pediatric, eye and emergency departments of the hospital. "When I visited the 5th Division at the end of last year, I learned about the hardships faced by military families and local residents," President Yoon said.
I was heartbroken to hear that. Therefore, the government actively promoted the registration of the medical unit of the frontline division, and as a result, the Victory Hospital was born as a local medical institution by reinforcing the facilities that were essential to the area.
President Yoon also thanked the soldiers working in the emergency room for "working hard even during the mid-autumn celebration holidays," and said, "I hope that the 15th Division Medical Unit will become a model for military medicine."
President Yoon then wrote in the guest book of the 15th Division Headquarters, "A victorious unit with complete victories! I am proud and encouraged." Afterwards, he visited the battle command room and
President Yoon received a report on military preparations from the commander. He said, “The 15th Division was an invincible victorious unit that destroyed the enemy 7th Division in the battle of Goseong, Gangwon Province, during the Korean War.
"It is a unit with a great tradition, with the title bestowed by the former president. The entire division is in a state of solid readiness, befitting its glorious history and honor, and it is encouraging," he said.
He also called on the troops to continue to make efforts in combat preparations and education and training, with the conviction that they must firmly protect the safety of the people and free democracy.

"As the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, I am truly proud of you and you have infinite trust in me," he said.
"As the commander-in-chief of the National Defense Agency, I will do my best to improve working conditions so that you can concentrate on your duties and feel proud of the military uniform you wear," he promised.
President Yoon went to the division's inspection stand and took a commemorative photo with about 500 division soldiers.
On this special day, BTS leader Kim Jong Un, who enlisted in the military in December last year and is currently serving in the 15th Division Military Band,
