A high school student in South Korea was handed over to prosecutors after he used DeepFei technology to superimpose nude photos onto the faces of four people, including his teacher, and then posted the photos on social media.
On the 23rd, the Namdong Police Station in Incheon announced the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes.
The prosecutors announced that a high school student, Mr. A, who was indicted without detention on suspicion of violation, had been sent to the prosecution. In July, Mr. A used DeepFei to superimpose the faces of four people, including teachers from his school and cram school, and seniors, onto nude photos, and posted them on social media.
The two teachers who were victimized requested an investigation, and during the process of further investigation, it was confirmed that two other teachers, a senior student at the cram school, had also been victimized.
Mr. A reportedly told the police, "I decided to make (Deep Fei sex exploitation material) because it's so beautiful."
A police official said, "We will analyze A's social media accounts and quickly uncover additional crimes.
Meanwhile, the Incheon Metropolitan Education Office's Northern Education Support Office recently held a committee to protect educational rights and determined that there had been a serious violation of educational activities.
He was expelled from school.
