It has been found that over the past three years, the station with the most sexual crimes on the Seoul subway was Express Bus Terminal Station, while Gangnam Station recorded the most theft cases.

A total of 3,516 crimes occurred in the Seoul subway last year, up about 4% from 3,378 in 2022. By type of crime, EMBEZZLEMENT accounted for 42% with 1,408 cases, the highest number.

The second-highest number of cases was 23 (1%). Assemblyman Yang said, "We should take measures to combat crimes at crowded stations, such as the expressway terminal and the Hong Dae entrance."
