HANI, a member of NewJeans, has been selected as an expert witness on workplace bullying at a national parliamentary audit to be held next month.
On September 30, the Korea Economic Daily reported that the National Assembly's Environment and Labor Committee will hold a meeting on October 25 to decide whether to approve the proposal.
The investigation has reportedly appointed HANI, a member of the idol group NewJeans, and Kim Juyeon, Chief Human Resources Officer of HYBE, as a reference person and a witness, respectively.
As a result, the two sides are expected to clash over their claims regarding workplace bullying. The National Assembly plans to question HANI about the issue of workplace bullying and Kim about his inadequate response.
Even if they are selected as witnesses or advisors for the National Assembly audit, they do not have to attend if they submit a notice of absence citing a "legitimate reason," so attention is being paid to the attendance of both men.

HANI continued, "Why should I have to go through this?
