Deoksugung Palace is a place where the history of Joseon and the Korean Empire coexist. Dondeokjeon is the palace where the Songgyeong Festival is held to commemorate the 40th anniversary of King Gojong's accession to the throne.
It is a Western-style building built for ceremonies, and was constructed in a European style to express the desire to protect the sovereignty of a modern nation on an equal footing with the Western powers.
The Tondokuden, which was the location of the statue, was demolished by Japan around 1920, but was rebuilt in its current form last year. This exhibition is a chance to see the world-famous character, who is approaching his 100th birthday, and his statue, which has been rebuilt for the first time in 100 years.

Suzy, An Yu Jin and traditional ceramic artist Lee Moon Hyun also collaborated to contribute to the exhibition. Works in various genres such as painting, sculpture, ceramics, drawing and digital art are on display.
