Yangtze Delta Railway carries more than 25.45 million passengers during National Day holiday: Chinese media

According to China Railway Shanghai Bureau Group Co., Ltd., the total number of passengers carried on railways in the Yangtze River Delta region (hereinafter referred to as the Yangtze River Delta Railway) during the National Day holiday period (October 1st to 7th) exceeded 25.45 million.
The average number of passengers per day exceeded 3.63 million, an increase of 5.1% from the same period last year. In particular, the number of passengers on October 1 reached 3.89 million, breaking the company's record for the number of passengers transported in a single day.
During the National Day holiday, the number of people using trains to go home or for sightseeing in the Yangtze River Delta region increased significantly. In particular, the number of people traveling to Beijing, Qingdao, Guangzhou, Zhengzhou, Fuzhou, etc.
The direct trains were reportedly well-traveled. In addition, the Chizhou-Huanghai-Wanzhou-Luanxi High Speed Railway and the Hangzhou-Wanzhou-Luanxi High Speed Railway, which were newly opened this year in the Yangtze River Delta region, were used by many tourists to mark the National Day holiday.
