Toyota and Hyundai to cooperate to ”expand the base of Japan-Korea motorsports” - Korean media

On the 27th of this month, Hyundai Motor Company and Toyota Motor Corporation of Korea held the "Hyundai Motorsports Japan-Korea Motorsports Culture Development" event at Yongin Everland Speedway in Gyeonggi-do, Korea.
On the 8th, it was announced that the "N x Toyota Gazoo Racing Festival" will be held. This event is attracting attention because it brings together the heads of representative companies of Japanese and Korean automakers.
According to Hyundai Motor, Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun and Toyota Group Chairman Akio Toyoda are scheduled to personally visit the venue and watch the performances of both companies.
Lee Yong-ho, vice president and head of global business management at Hyundai Motor, said, "This event is aimed at spreading the motorsport culture, where competition and friendship coexist, to the masses and allowing everyone to enjoy it together."
This will be an opportunity to demonstrate Hyundai's commitment to expanding motorsport culture through collaboration with Toyota, which was made possible by a pure passion for automobiles.
