Singer IU's eyes well up with tears as she remembers the Japanese fan she met 11 years ago... ”Thank you for protecting those feelings”

Singer and actor IU has shown tears of gratitude towards her fans.

　IU recently posted one video on her YouTube channel under the title ‘[IU TV] I'm not crying’.

　This video included the 2024 IU HEREH WORLD TOUR CONCERT IN OSAKA, which was held at Assue Arena Osaka from the 6th-7th July.

　IU said, "It's been so long since I've been in Osaka. When I was in Japan 11 years ago, I had the impression that Japanese audiences were very focused and calm, but I remember that only in Osaka, people were loud and passionate for some reason. It was like Pusan (Busan) in South Korea. It's been a while since I've been here, so I feel more jovial."

　She continued, adding, "A picture came to me earlier about the audience."

　IU also said, "When I went to work earlier, I saw some fans on the street on the way to the concert venue" and revealed, "So I greeted them, but there was one person who sometimes came to take my photos when I was in Japan a really long time ago."

　He added "He was the one who always came with a smile and took my picture with his camera, but I haven't seen him for a long time. But today, instead of taking my photo, he said to me loudly, ‘IU, it's been a really long time’’, she recalled.

　Not only that, IU added "So I wondered what reason that person would be my audience for such a long time. I was so grateful that he kept that feeling even though I came to perform in Osaka for the first time in a long time, it made me cry," she confided.

　She added, "I'm a singer who can't come to sing often, but I'm so grateful to everyone for coming to see me like this all these years", which made her almost cry and made her chest burn with emotion,
