Seven-Eleven launches large-capacity instant Jajang noodles, six times the size of normal noodles (Korea)
Korea Seven, the operator of the convenience store "7-Eleven" in the Lotte Group in South Korea, has launched a large-sized instant ramen called "Seven Select Bul Cha Kechi."
The company announced that it will release a six-portion large-capacity version of its "Chakechi" noodles, which are made by adding eggs and cheese to the Zhajiang noodles. The noodles are made with a rich Zhajiang noodles sauce, powdered cheese, egg flakes, and chili oil.
The noodles are individually wrapped so that customers can adjust the amount they eat. The retro design of the container is reminiscent of a diner from a bygone era.
With a generous diameter of 32 centimeters, it is lightweight and easy to take with you on trips or camping, and can be reused after eating.
Seven Korea came up with this product in response to the recent trend of large-volume food items becoming popular along with the continued rise in the cost of eating out.
Kang Sung Jin, PB team general manager of the company, said, "Due to the prolonged recession, various cost-effective products are gaining popularity.
"'Gechi' will be a hit that not only conveys flavor but also fun to customers," he said confidently.
