J-HOPE (BTS) was discharged from the military today (17th) while being welcomed by member JIN.

On the 17th, J-HOPE completed his military service at the 36th Infantry Division Recruit Training Unit in Wonju, Gangwon-do, ending his military life of one year and six months.

On the morning of this day, J-HOPE stood in front of the interview team and posed with a salute, asking them to take a beautiful picture of him.

J-HOPE said, "I am very grateful. I was discharged from the army in good health" and added "I thank all the reporters who came from far away. And thanks to all my fans, I finished (my military service) in good health"

He continued "What I want to talk about is that I did a lot of marching during my one year and six months of military life and assistant teacher duties. Each time I met many citizens of Wonju, who greeted and supported the military generals. I would like to say thank you to all the citizens."

He added "What I felt for one year and six months is the hard work and dedication of many generals to protect the country. (They) do a lot for the country. I would be grateful if the people of the country would send their passionate interest and love to these people."

J-HOPE said, "Thank you very much for your tremendous support, encouragement and love. I was discharged from the military in good health."

On this day, member JIN visited the site to celebrate J-HOPE's discharge. JIN welcomed J-HOPE with an embrace and showed his warmth by holding the microphone for J-HOPE and presenting him with a bouquet of flowers. He revealed, "I want to say thank you to all the citizens for your support."
