Comedian Lee JINHO, who is involved in illegal gambling, cuts his losses even in his hometown of Hwaseong City... Dismissed as PR ambassador
Comedian Lee Jinho, who accumulated huge debts through illegal gambling on the Internet, ended up being written off by his hometown of Hwaseong.
On the 17th, Hwaseong city announced, "Lee Jinho has been dismissed from his position as Hwaseong city public relations ambassador."
Hwaseong City appointed Lee Yong Jin and Lee Jinho, former members of Hwaseong City, as public relations ambassadors in March of last year. Lee Jinho is a former member of Hwaseong City's An-myeon district. The term of office is two years.
However, according to the ordinance, an ambassador can be dismissed if he or she is deemed to be unfit to perform the duties of a public relations ambassador, such as lacking dignity.
Prior to this, Lee Jinho posted on his SNS, "By chance in 2020,
"I started playing games on illegal internet gambling sites and got into unbelievable debts," he said, confessing that he had accumulated huge debts as a result of illegal internet gambling.
The problem is that Lee JINHO is using excuses such as "parents" and "taxes" to smear "BTS" JIMIN, singer Ha Seong Woon, and talent Lee Seung Geun.
It is said that he has sought help from fellow entertainers, TV station staff, PDs, writers, etc. Lee Jinho has even borrowed money from loan sharks due to illegal gambling, and the money he borrowed from loan sharks is enough to cover his debts.
The debt is said to reach 1.3 billion won (approximately 130 million yen), and the amounts revealed so far alone bring his debts to about 2.3 billion won (approximately 230 million yen).
