Hong Kyung, who plays the role of Yeonjun, a man who is devoted to love, is said to have learned sign language in order to prepare for the role.
He said, "I learned how to communicate through sign language through this film. It wasn't scary.
"I wanted to do something new and try things I didn't know. I tried to tackle it fearlessly, but with a sense of responsibility," he recalled.
"I learned sign language for three months and had detailed and intense discussions about the characters' thoughts and feelings.
When you have to listen, you can't look away. You have to concentrate on the other person. You have to open your eyes and look at the other person, so I communicate that through sign language.
"I learned a lot from watching the drama," he recalled. "Listening to the Theory" will be released on November 6th.
