President Yoon emphasizes defense cooperation with Poland

President Yoon said that the two countries' defense cooperation has entered a new stage.
"South Korea and Poland have a strong understanding of the importance of national security," President Yoon said at the state dinner for the 100,000 people who visited the country in the past.
President Yoon said, "Korea has developed a relationship of mutual benefit based on the common ground that both countries overcame the difficulties and achieved economic growth and democratization in a short period of time.
"Korean music has been given new life through pianist Cho Seong-jin, and many K-pop fans in Poland are enjoying Korean music," he said.
President Yoon also said that Poland, which was protected by patriots including President Duda's grandfather, is now one of the world's 20 most powerful nations, and that it has no plans to take part in global conflicts such as the Ukraine war.
He also said, "The Republic of Korea will further strengthen strategic cooperation with Poland, which shares the values of freedom, human rights, and the rule of law, and will continue to cooperate with Poland in the future."
"President Duda's visit to Korea will be the first step towards a hopeful and mature 35 years," he said. In his reply, President Duda said, "For Poles, Korea is a place of development.
"South Korea was known as the Tiger of the East and was a symbol of national security," he said. "Now, with the import of weapons made in South Korea, it has become a symbol of national security." President Duda added, "South Korea is a model for Poland.
"I am convinced that cooperation with Korea is a good thing for Poland," he said. Finally, President Duda said that in the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, which will be celebrated in a week,
