President Yoon Seok-yeo orders 'to take all necessary measures' in response to Israeli attack on Iran
On the morning of the 26th, South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol received a report from the National Security Office about the Israeli attack on Iran, and stressed that the safety of Koreans in the area is the top priority.
In response, the National Security Office held a security situation review meeting under the direction of Deputy Director-General In Seong-hwan and ordered the government to take all necessary measures to prepare for the worsening situation.
In addition, they decided to operate a 24-hour response system at the government level, closely monitor the situation on the ground, and implement related measures.
The security situation review meeting was attended by In Seong-hwan, second vice director of the National Security Office, and the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (equivalent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Japan).
Second Vice Minister Ng In Song, Vice Minister of National Defense Kim Seon Ho and Ambassador to Iran Kim Jun Pyo were among those in attendance.
