Han Dong-hoon, leader of the ruling People's Power Party, attended the ceremony to commemorate former President Park Chung-hee at the Seoul National Cemetery in Dongjak-gu on the morning of the 26th.

The floor leader of the House of Representatives, Choi Jin-soo, said of President Park, "He was a leader who lifted the Republic of Korea out of poverty.
