On the 28th, the Democratic Party, together with the People's Power (ruling party), will launch a consultation mechanism to promote the civil welfare pledges made in the last general election and the common civil welfare issues of the two parties.
According to the political world on the 27th, Kim Sang-hoon, chairman of the policy committee, and Bae Junyeong, the chief deputy floor leader of the People Power Party,
Jin Sung-Jun, chairman of the policy committee of the Democratic Party of Korea, and Park Sung-Jun, the first vice floor leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, will meet at the National Assembly on the morning of the 28th to launch the "Council for Promoting the Civil Life and Common Pledges."
This comes about two months after People Power Chairman Han Dong-hoon and Democratic Party Chairman Lee Jae-myung met and reached an agreement.
The two parties will hold a meeting to discuss the future of food production and economic revitalization, including semiconductors, AI, and the expansion of the national power grid.

The two representatives are also in working-level discussions to hold a second round of talks.
