Cho Kuk, chairman of the Fatherland Reform Party, visited Daegu on the 2nd and declared, "To protect the dignity and values of conservatives, the Yoon Seok-yeol administration must come to an early end."
On the same day, Chairman Cho attended the opening ceremony of the Daegu branch of the Fatherland Reform Party and the first ever "Impeachment Cafe" event calling for the impeachment of President Yoon. Chairman Cho said, "Yoon Seok-yeol (Kim Gun-hee)
"The issue of ending the joint government is not a matter of 'judging conservatives' or 'putting progressives on trial.' It is an issue of ending an incompetent government that is embarrassing conservatives."
Cho said, "I believe that conservative values are to put the country before one's spouse and to uphold dignity and common sense.
"Do you think the writing has any dignity? It's embarrassing," he said. Cho said, "The Fatherland Reform Party has been the leader in calling for the early termination, resignation, and impeachment of the Yoon Seok-yeol government, and this is the first event to meet with citizens.
"I chose Daegu because I thought it was a good idea to start here. Many people tried to persuade me to stay, but I decided to start here, which is the 'holy land of conservatives' and the 'basement of the opposition camp.' This is to take on the challenge head-on," he said.
"I want you to judge Yoon Seok-yeo and Kim Geon-hee for embarrassing conservatives in Daegu, our fortress. Once Daegu makes its decision, the entire Republic of Korea will make its decision," he emphasized.
Representative Cho will start in Daegu, then move on to Mokpo, Seoul, Jeonju, Gwangju, and Gyeongsan.
Impeachment cafe events are planned to be held in Namdo (South Gyeongsang Province) and other areas.
