The National Bio Committee will be formed with a support group of private sector experts and related public officials. Secretary Park Sang-wook said, "The National Bio Committee will be a member of the National Space Committee and the National Artificial Intelligence Committee.
The committee is the third strategic technology committee chaired by the president, following the previous committee. The quantum science and technology field is the last of the three "game-changing" technologies, and the Quantum Strategy Committee will be launched within the year.
