TOP was arrested in July 2017 on suspicion of marijuana use and received a 10-month prison sentence with a two-year suspended sentence. He later left the group BIGBANG

By the time we decided to cast T.O.P., a lot of time had passed. The verdict had already been handed down and the grace period had ended. That's how much time had passed.
"I thought maybe I could start doing something like this again if I could do it again," he said. "I was also an actor who I had been paying a lot of attention to. It took a lot of courage for him to take on this role.
However, I made the decision because I thought he was the best fit for the role. I received some criticism, but I had already spent a lot of time with him and I didn't want to start over, so I thought, why not do this film with him?
"I came to the conclusion that the only way to find out whether it was or wasn't is to show the finished product. I would like you to judge it after seeing the film."
