SEVENTEEN's JUN confirmed to appear in Chinese TV series... ”A new challenge, I'll work hard”

JUN, a member of the group "SEVENTEEN", will be taking on the challenge of a fantasy comedy period drama in the Chinese TV series "Yungui Happy Affairs."
On the 18th, Pledis Entertainment reported that JUN began filming on the 15th.
She will appear in the TV series "Yungui Happiness" as Moon Liangjin. The TV series is the second in the series of the same name, which is an adaptation of the Chinese web novel "Tang Chuan", and is being broadcast on the Chinese OTT platform iQIYI.
The story of these people overcoming obstacles in pursuit of justice and finding love unfolds as a fantasy comedy historical drama.
Moon Liangjin, played by JUN, is a character appearing for the first time this season.
Last year, he played the lead role in a web TV series, giving viewers the unique thrill of adolescence, raising curiosity as to what kind of charms he will show in his new work.
At the TV series' crank-in event, JUN said, "Starring in a period drama is a new challenge for me," and "I'm going to use my desire to do well as my driving force to create the character.
"I will play the role to the end. I will do my best to show you a satisfactory performance," he said. Meanwhile, "SEVENTEEN," the group JUN belongs to, held the "2024 Concert" on the 16th and 17th.
It won the "Best Selling Album" and "Top 10 Songs" awards at the 2024 Real Grand Music Awards (KGMA).
They released their 4th Japanese single on the 27th, and will hold a concert at Vantelin Dome on the 29th and 30th of the same month.
Starting in Nagoya, the group will hold the "SEVENTEEN [RIGH]" concert at Tokyo Dome (December 4-5), Kyocera Dome Osaka (December 12th, 14-15th), and Fukuoka PayPay Dome (December 19th, 21-22nd).
