The Ministry of Finance of China has released the income and expenditures of the national general public budget (equivalent to the general account) for the first ten months of this year. According to the information released, the national general public budget revenue for the first ten months of this year was 1.1% higher than the previous year.
The figure was 18.4981 trillion yen (approximately 396 trillion yen), down 1.3% from the same period last year. Of this, national tax revenue was 15.782 trillion yen (approximately 323 trillion yen), down 4.5%, and non-tax revenue was 3.3% up (approximately 3.23 trillion yen).
Divided into central and local governments, the central government's general public budget revenues were down 3.9% to 8.2482 trillion yen (about 176.6 trillion yen).
General public revenues increased 0.9% to 10.2499 trillion yen (approximately 219.4 trillion yen). Meanwhile, national general public budget expenditures for January-October increased 2.7% to 22.1465 trillion yen (approximately 474 trillion yen).
Of this, the central government's general public budget expenditures increased by 7.9% to 3.2658 trillion yen (approximately 70 trillion yen), and local government general public budget expenditures increased by 1.8% to 18.8807 trillion yen (approximately 404 trillion yen).
