Husband in his 60s jumps off a 7m bridge in a fit of anger during a marital dispute (South Korea)

In Jeju, South Korea, a man in his 60s who was arguing with his wife jumped off a bridge and sustained injuries. According to the Cheju Island Fire and Safety Headquarters on the 2nd, the accident occurred at around 5:15 pm the previous day in the East District of Seogwipo City.
A report was received that a man in his 60s, Mr. A, had fallen under the Central Bridge in Hongdong. The bridge is 6 to 7 meters high, and Mr. A injured his lower back in the impact of the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The police investigation revealed that Mr. A had been talking to his wife on the phone just before the accident, and that he had gotten into an argument with her. Unable to control his anger, he jumped off the bridge.
Police are investigating the exact circumstances.
