Yang said, "Since Jung Woo Sung has acknowledged his son with Moon GaBi as his biological child, he should also be responsible for child support.
"For now, it is highly likely that the amount agreed upon will be paid, but if an agreement cannot be reached, the amount will have to be paid monthly until the child turns 18 according to the child support table set by the court."
Yang explained, "The maximum monthly income (according to the standard table) is 12 million won (about 1.3 million yen). Even if you earn more than that, you don't have to pay child support.
"Under current standards, 3 million won is the maximum," he said, adding, "If you want your child to go to a good kindergarten, a good hospital, and a good school, you can discuss it with the parents and give them 10 million won (about 1 million yen)."
"If an agreement is not reached, child support will be paid according to the court's criteria," he said.
"The court can raise the amount by acknowledging the celebrity tax and financial resources of the parents, but that's the basic standard," said Yang.
She added that since Jung Woo Sung currently has one child born out of wedlock, the legal inheritance for the child is 100%.
In 2020, Jung Woo Sung and Lee Jung jointly acquired a building in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul for 33 billion won (approximately 3.577 billion yen).
Yang said he thought the criticism that Jung Woo Sung is not married to Moon GaBi was "excessive."
