”WayV” is recognized globally... iTunes top 5 in 17 regions worldwide

Korean boy group ‘WayV’ occupied No.1 on various charts with their new mini-album ‘FREQUENCY’.

WayV's 6th mini-album ‘FREQUENCY’, which was released on 25th, ranked No.1 on the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 13 regions worldwide, including Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Peru, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia, Tulkiye, Guatemala and Panama. The top five in 17 regions worldwide, including India, Russia, Hong Kong and Vietnam, were added to the list. This result shows the high interest of global music fans in ‘WayV’.

At the same time, the new album ranked No. 1 on the Hunt chart, Korea's main album chart, and the songs from the new album ranked No. 1-4 on Japan's AWA real-time chart, while WayV's existing songs also lined up at No. 1-39 on the corresponding chart.

WayV's 6th mini-album ‘FREQUENCY’ is a strong old-school hip-hop title track ‘FREQUENCY’, including Korean and Chinese versions of the song, consisting of a total of six songs of diverse appeal, is enough to meet the diverse musical colours of ‘WayV’.

Meanwhile, ‘WayV’ will appear on MBC FM4U's ‘Close Friend, I'm Lee Hyun’, which will be broadcast today (26th) at 12pm.
