”NCT WISH” unveils first full-length Japanese album ”WISHFUL”... a heartwarming winter song
Korean boy group NCT WISH's 1st full album in Japan will be released.
According to SM Entertainment on the 26th November, NCT WISH's first full album in Japan ‘WISHFUL’ will be released at midnight on the 27th November on various global music platforms, and the music video (MV) for the title track ‘Wishful Winter’ will The music video (MV) for the title track ‘Wishful Winter’ will also be released on Youtube's SMTOWN channel and other platforms at the same time.
The album includes the title track ‘Wishful Winter’, ‘FARAWAY’, ‘Touchdown’, ‘CHOO CHOO’, ‘P.O.V’, ‘Our Adventures’, the full version of ‘NASA’ released in the performance video, the already released WISH', “Songbird”, “We Go!”, “Hands Up”, “Sail Away” and the Japanese version of “Tears Are Falling”.
In particular, the title track ‘Wishful Winter’ is a pop ballad with a prominent arpeggio piano sound, rich harmonies and impressive piano and string sounds reminiscent of the sound of bells, the identity of ‘NCT WISH’ to make wishes come true at Christmas is blended lyrics and the delicate vocals of the members maximise the sensibility of winter.
The music video, which will be released along with the soundtrack, warmly depicts the story of a toy shop that repairs old dolls and gives happiness to the town's children by fixing broken dolls, set to a sweet winter song. Member Ryo's favourite doll ‘Tonton’ will appear as the toy shop's mascot to add a special touch.
The MV teaser video for the new song ‘Wishful Winter’, which was released on Youtube's SMTOWN channel at midnight today (26th) prior to the release of the full-length video, unfolds from the perspective of ‘Tonton’ and shows the emotional story of how he wants to give the love he received from the members to other people. The video teaser of the new song ‘Wishful Winter’ is from the point of view of ‘Tongtong’.
