”Contract renewal under discussion” (G)I-DLE's Soyeon not attending group dinner? It was a misunderstanding

As discussions over the renewal of her contract continue for Soyeon of the group (G)I-DLE, a video of the group having a dinner together has been released, attracting attention.

Some speculated that the time for the group's contract renewal discussion had come and that the contract had been scrapped after Soyeon's teasing of the end of her contract in November.
However, this turned out to be a false alarm. On the 25th, (G)I-DLE released a statement titled "HAPPY (G)I-DLE's DINNER"
Along with the caption "TIME," additional footage was released, showing the complete dining scene with Soyeon also joining in.

Previously, Soyeon had been in discussion with management company Cube Entertainment over renewing her contract, but the deal was ultimately scrapped.

Soyeon also personally teased the end of her contract in November at a concert in August.
