While actor Jung Hae-in positively considered a Japanese drama for his next film, reports emerged that the drama production company was perplexed by the rejection.

On the 26th, Japanese media outlet Post Seven reported that a TBS drama in which Jung Hae-in was considered for a role was in jeopardy after Jung Hae-in's appearance was cancelled. In response, Jung Hae-in's agency FNC Entertainment has not indicated any particular position.

According to Japanese media reports on the same day, the drama in question is one that Jung Hae-in has positively considered as his next drama. It will star Jung Hae-in and Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi, and is about a Korean lawyer and a Japanese veterinarian who build up trust and friendship across countries as they struggle and regain their lives.

The drama production company was aiming to crank the drama in February next year, but was in jeopardy when Jung Hae-in's performance was cancelled a few months before filming was due to begin. He explained that casting an actor to replace Jung Hae-in was also a challenge. The sudden cancellation of Jung Hae-in's appearance also left Kenta Sakaguchi in a state of panic.

Meanwhile, Jung Hae-in was introduced to Japanese audiences in the Japan-Korea co-production Disney+ ‘Connect’, which was released in 2022, and was loved by the general public in tvN's ‘My Neighbour Mr. Perfect’, which recently finished airing.
