米韓が来月4~5日、北核使用時を想定した「軍事対応 “机上演習”」を実施
The United States and South Korea will hold a military response tabletop exercise on the 4th and 5th of next month, simulating a North Korean nuclear attack.
The United States and South Korea will hold the fourth U.S.-South Korea Nuclear Consultative Group (NCG) meeting and the first NCG Tabletop Exercise (TTX) on the 4th and 5th of next month in Washington.
The TTX, which was attended by defense and military officials, envisioned a scenario in which North Korea uses nuclear weapons and sought to implement policy decisions made by the U.S. and South Korean governments.
The NCG meeting and TTX were held by Cho Chang-rae, South Korea's director of defense policy, and Abercrombie, the acting deputy undersecretary for defense policy of the United States.
The summit will be co-hosted by the National Security Council (NSC) and will be attended by officials from the U.S. and ROK defense, diplomatic, intelligence and military authorities.
