According to police and other sources, the "National Emergency Action to Reject the Veto," a group of progressive civic groups, held a protest in Sejong-dong, Seoul from 5:30 p.m. on the same day.
The Democratic Party of Korea also held a pre-rally for about 30 minutes from 5 p.m. on the same day.
The National Emergency Action to Reject the Veto Power will set up a stage on Sejong-daero in the morning ahead of the rally. In the afternoon, they will hold a large-scale rally at the same location, and then move on to Namdaemun-daero.
The police will set up variable lanes on the opposite side of the rally site to control traffic congestion and deploy around 140 traffic police officers.
In addition, traffic will be restricted from the Euljiro entrance junction to the Euljiro 2-ga junction and from the Toegye-ro 2-ga junction to Toegye-ro 1-ga, and instead pedestrians will be diverted towards Samil-daero and Seoparo.
Police officials are calling on people to "use public transportation such as the subway as much as possible." Information on the time and traffic conditions for each rally is available via the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's traffic information hotline and traffic information center.
This can be checked on the center's website.
