The Ministry of Education decided at the end of last month that each university should be allowed to allow medical students to take time off at their own discretion. As a result, if about 3,000 first-year students this year return to university next year, the number of students who will be enrolled next year will be increased.
This will create an unprecedented situation where a total of 7,500 students will have to take classes, including the 4,500 freshmen. If medical students who are away from the university return in the first semester of next year, they will have to face various educational challenges.

Currently, the Ministry of Education's Human Resources Policy Planning Office and the Regional Human Resources Policy Office are in charge of the medical school.
The Human Resources Policy Planning Office is responsible for the quotas for new students and entrance examinations for each medical school, and the production of new doctors, while the Regional Human Resources Policy Office is responsible for improving the educational environment of medical schools.
