Kim is accused of stealing the money and valuables. She previously met A as a nail artist and filed a lawsuit alleging that she had been the victim of blackmail for five years.
Mr. A reportedly illegally recorded a private conversation with Mr. Kim and threatened to spread it on social media.
A prosecutor said, "We will continue to pursue the charges thoroughly so that the defendant receives punishment commensurate with his crime."
