The Democratic Party of Korea has submitted a proposal to impeach the Board of Audit and Inspection and the Central District Prosecutors' Office to the National Assembly.

The impeachment bill against Choi Jae-hae, the head of the Board of Audit, and Lee Chang-soo, the head of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, was reported to the National Assembly on the 2nd.
This is the first time that the bill has been submitted to the National Assembly and reported to the plenary session.
The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office received a report on the impeachment motion against the head of the second anti-corruption division. The impeachment motion must be acted on within 72 hours of the plenary session being reported, so a vote was held on the 4th.
