TOP (former BIGBANG), who has a criminal record for drug use, is preparing to return to acting in season 2 of the hit Netflix series "Squid Game," and attention is focused on his role.

The poster shows Lee Jung leading the group, announcing the start of the "death game." However, TOP is missing from the poster, raising questions.
T.O.P. was given a suspended sentence in 2017 for allegedly smoking marijuana. He announced his retirement from the entertainment industry, but later retracted this and chose "Squid Game 2" as his comeback project, sparking controversy.
There was also a back-and-forth debate over the casting of TOP, with director Hwang Dong-hyuk saying, "The sentence has been handed down and the probation period has ended," and "Time has passed, so I'm going to work again."
"I personally decided that it would be good to start the project," he said. TOP made a brief appearance in the teaser that was released earlier. However, he will not be attending the production presentation on the 9th of this month.
This led to speculation among netizens that he may have been aware of the negative public reaction, and he was not seen in the posters that were subsequently released, drawing attention.
With this raising suspicions that TOP was edited out of the poster, there is also interest in how much of a role he will play in the work.
