The suspects named in the indictment include President Yoon Seok-yeol, former Minister of National Defense Kim Yong-hyun, and Chief of the Administration Lee Sang Min.
The Minister of National Defense, Mok Hyun-tae, and other security guards were among those arrested. On the 5th, the police issued an emergency departure ban on Kim, citing rumors that he had fled overseas.
The lawmakers have raised the possibility that Kim fled overseas because he did not attend the emergency questioning session of the National Assembly's Defense Committee regarding the approval of his dismissal.
