The People Power Party had taken the position that day that it would reject both the special prosecutor bill and the presidential impeachment bill.
The only lawmakers left in the meeting were Rep. Ahn Cheol-soo and Rep. Kim Ye-ji. In response, opposition party officials waiting outside the meeting hall shouted at the People Power Party lawmakers, "We're going to vote.
They shouted slogans such as, "Vote," "Impeach Yoon Seok-youl," "If you are acting with integrity, why are you running away?" and "Traitor."
