Bitcoin Oppositionist Peter Schiff Slams Bitcoin as Public Enemy No. 1

Peter Schiff, a leading Bitcoin opponent, recently called Bitcoin "Public Enemy No. 1" in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
On the 8th (local time), U-Today reported that Schiff further strengthened his anti-Bitcoin rhetoric, saying, "Bitcoin supporters are bribing government officials and using public funds to buy Bitcoin."
"Bitcoin is not simply a means of personal speculation, it is a threat to national security," he said.
Schiff's strong criticism comes amid an ongoing debate about whether the United States should establish a national Bitcoin reserve.
Recently, Michael Saylor, co-founder of MicroStrategy,
Saylor argued that the US government should replace gold with Bitcoin. Saylor said, "Such a step would remove the entire gold asset class from its monetary function.
